Can Sleep Duck actually stop late-night scrolling?
Sleep Duck is not a medical tool or a hard device lock. It combines reminders, focus mode, white noise, breathing, and playful accountability to make bedtime easier to start and repeat.
Are the core features free?
Yes. Bedtime goals, reminders, focus mode, basic duck lines, several sleep sounds, medals, and reports are free. Pro unlocks more content and advanced extras.
Will my sleep data be uploaded?
Not by default. Check-ins, focus records, outfits, and settings are stored locally unless you enable sync, send feedback, or subscribe. See the Privacy Policy.
Why can iOS Focus Mode sometimes be bypassed?
The feature depends on iOS Screen Time and FamilyActivityPicker permissions, so behavior varies by system version and authorization scope.
How do I cancel a subscription?
iOS: Settings -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions -> Sleep Duck -> Cancel. Android: Google Play -> Profile -> Payments & subscriptions -> Subscriptions -> Sleep Duck -> Cancel.
Can duck coins be exchanged for money?
No. Duck coins are in-app virtual rewards and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, refunded, or exchanged for legal currency.
