- Check-in and focus records such as bedtime or wake check-ins, focus duration, completion status, and exit reasons.
- Outfit and personalization preferences.
- Feedback content you send to us, including email address, issue descriptions, and screenshots.
Information collected automatically
- Device information such as model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, and screen resolution.
- Technical logs and crash information for debugging and stability analysis.
- Aggregated usage statistics that are not linked to personal identity.
Information we do not collect
- We do not actively collect real names, identity documents, phone numbers, home addresses, or bank card numbers.
- We do not access contacts, SMS, call history, precise continuous location, or private content from other apps.
4. How We Use Information
- To provide core features such as reminders, focus mode, white noise, check-ins, reports, medals, duck growth, and outfits.
- To personalize content and settings.
- To improve product quality using aggregated and de-identified analysis.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To respond to support requests and feedback.
We do not use sleep records or routine data for ad targeting or sell them to third parties.

8. Storage and Transfer
Sleep Duck is local-first: core routine records, outfits, and settings are stored on your device by default. Network transfer occurs only when needed for sync, downloads, subscriptions, feedback, or similar features, using HTTPS/TLS where applicable.
9. Retention and Deletion
- Routine and settings data: stored locally and removable in the app.
- Feedback records: retained for up to 12 months after processing.
- Crash and technical logs: retained for up to 90 days, then deleted or aggregated.
10. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may access, copy, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information; withdraw permissions through system settings; delete local data; or request account deletion if an account feature is available. We aim to respond within 15 business days.
11. Children
Sleep Duck is intended for users aged 13 or above, or the minimum age allowed by applicable local law. Minors should use the app with guardian guidance and consent. If we learn that we collected a minor's information without required consent, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
12. Cross-Region Transfer
Where necessary for operation, platform services, push notifications, subscriptions, or support, information may be processed across regions. We will follow applicable requirements and use appropriate safeguards.
14. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when published in the app or on the website. For material changes, we will provide prominent notice where required.
